The leaflet provides in-depth information on: why the vaccine is needed, how maternal pertussis vaccination helps to protect babies from whooping cough, when expectant mothers can have the vaccine and why this vaccine is so important.
This poster describes the pertussis containing vaccines suitable for the infant, pre-school and maternal programmes and has been produced to reduce vaccines errors. Please order copies for any setting offering the pertussis vaccines and display in the areas where the vaccines are stored and prepared for administration.
This leaflet should be given to all pregnant women before week 16 of their pregnancy to inform them about the RSV vaccination. It will be available in a range of accessible and translated formats shortly.
